Spring 2019: Anime I’m excited for.

I know its’s still cold in a lot of places but spring is coming! I hope everyone has been warm throughout this cold winter. I’m looking forward to quite a few anime series this coming spring. I know there are quite a few coming out so I’m going to list a few of  the ones I’m excited to see this spring:

One Punch Man- Season Two:

I’ve been waiting for the second season of this anime since episode 2. I’ve even taken to the Saitama workout plan so now I am extremely ready for season two (I’m lying, I can barely do 100 push-ups let alone 1000 a day). I haven’t seen a synopsis for upcoming season but I’m sure it has something to do with the silver haired guy in the background of the pic above. I know his name but it currently escapes me. The expected release of season 2 in April so be on the look out for it! Most likely will be shown on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hulu.

Bungo Stray Dogs season Three:

Now I’m excited for this third season even though I haven’t finished season 2….don’t judge me. I enjoyed the first and the 4 episodes of season 2 I’ve watched. If you haven’t checked out this anime, I suggest you do. I even did an Anime Spotlight on it here. The third season is expected to start in April as well. Be sure to check out Crunchyroll and VRV when it comes out.

Fairy Gone:

This an anime I heard about in December and the synopsis piqued my interest. The graphic above leaves A LOT to be desired but still kind of interesting. Here is a synopsis from the website MyAnimeList.com:

“Once upon a time, fairies were tools of war.”

The story takes place in a world where fairies possess and dwell in animals, giving them mysterious abilities. By removing the organs of a possessed animal and transplanting them into humans, fairies can be summoned as an alter ego and be used as a weapon. Such individuals who used fairies as war tools were called “Fairy Soldiers.” Once the war was over and they completed their roles, the soldiers lost their purpose. Some began working for the government, some joined the mafia, and some even became terrorists, as each chose their own way to live.

Nine years have passed since the war. The protagonist Mariya is a new recruit of “Dorothea,” an organization which investigates and suppresses fairy-related crimes. Amidst the unstable political situation, criminals with lingering wounds from the war and past conflicts emerge and engage in terrorism as an act of revenge. This is the story of Fairy Soldiers, fighting for their own justice in a chaotic postwar world.”

If that doesn’t sound interesting, then I don’t know what does. I know this is a short list of spring anime which will already add to my super long list of anime to watch but I’m extremely hype about these 3 in particular. There are actually a few current series I’m watching that I’m super excited to see where they go (post coming later). What about you? What anime coming this spring are excited to watch? Let us know in the comments! Be sure to check us out on Twitter for live tweets of shows or just to see our random thoughts. Until next time, Nerd out!
