Nerd News Blast

Happy Tuesday! Today is just a random Tuesday in the Nerdom. I’m going to share some little tidbits that may (or may not) interest you calling them Nerd News Blasts. At the end of every week, I will try (TRY) to summarize the weeks nerd offerings be it manga, anime, games, etc. I may forget so feel free to remind me.

On Tv:

“Outlaw Star” is coming back to TV! Okay, not a new season but still great to see it on TV again. It will be replacing Ghost in the Shell on Toonami. Outlaw Star never got the second season it deserved but it is a classic anime and even though I’ve seen this series at least 5 times, and I’m glad this generation gets to experience this classic. Outlaw Star will premier (again) on August 19th at 2:30am EST.

“Gundam Versus” Open Beta Runs September 2 and 3 in the West

I’m pretty sure you’ve seen my post about this game before. If you have forgotten, Gundam is one of my favorite series of all time and I’ve been waiting for this game forever (really since it announced it was coming to the west in Feb). This Beta will be available for all PS4 owners even without having PS Plus, but you will need PS Plus for online capabilities when the full game comes out. Me and an associate of mine will be streaming the beta when it drops so be on the lookout for links to pop up.

Sims 4 coming to consoles in November

How long has The Sims 4 been out? 17 years it feels like. But finally after 3 years(I think), The Sims 4 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 this November. Now you can start (and destroy) a fake life from the convenience of your PS4 or Xbox One! I haven’t played the Sims since the Sims 2 so I’m kind of excited but more so that I found an easier gift to get my little sister for Christmas this year.

Welp, that is all I have for the beginning of this week. I will be putting some more nerd news out as the week goes on and will try to put it all in one post. Be sure to watch for my upcoming stream of the “Gundam Versus” beta. I have more info on future gaming streams coming as well. As always, Nerd Out!
