If you haven’t heard already, the Dragonball Super anime is ending…but not really. As reported by comicbook.com , the Dragonball Super anime will end in March. But not really “end”, but more like go on hiatus for an undisclosed time. In Japan, Dragonball Super will lose it’s time slot starting April 1st to “Gegege no Kitaro”. According to Fuji TV, they have no plans to broadcast a new Dragon Ball show “since it’s not like the series is over”
A hiatus may not be a bad thing though. It’ll give the animation team time to rest and then catch up and maybe let the manga get ahead of the anime so we’ll have more content later. There is also a Dragon Ball film slated for December of this year so a hiatus could free up some of Toei Animation’s top animators. For information, check out comicbook.com or Kotaku.com. What do you think of this information? Does it surprise you? Let me know in the comments! Until next time, Nerd out people!
