Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were).
Hello Blerders and Nerders! Today is an interesting day in the challenge. I haven’t really thought about a character I feel most like. I mean, I’ve thought about characters I wouldn’t mind being in their environment. So I have two characters in mind that I feel like I’m most like, well wish I was was like.
Commander Shepard (Mass Effect Trilogy)
The main character of the original Mass Effect trilogy and living legend. Yes I know that the player essentially controls whether Shepard is good or bad but that fact is one reason I saw myself as him. I was able to control his decisions and in turn, imprinted my own morals on the character. And he was in a universe where aliens and physical enhancements were commonplace. I’ve always been fascinated with space and the possibility of other life in our galaxy/universe so being a character that was among them daily is something I have dreamed of. Who wouldn’t want to travel the galaxy with a bunch of aliens fighting to save the universe!?
Balthier (Final Fantasy XII)
“Princess! No need to worry. I hope you haven’t forgotten my role in this little story. I’m the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies”—Balthier to Ashe
Young, suave, sky pirate and ladies man. Who wouldn’t want to be like that? Balthier is a sky pirate that is one of the protagonists of Final Fantasy XII and one of the most interesting character in the game. For the most part, he wants nothing to do with the drama that comes to his feet. Balthier and his viera companion Fran want nothing to do Vann or Ashe (the two other protagonists) but they end up assisting the party in uncovering a conspiracy and helping Ashe ascend to the throne. Throughout the game, Balthier and Fran are an asset to the party not only as party members but to help the story move along. He’s reliable, dashing, smooth and overall a cool character.
There are probably a few more characters I could of wrote about but these two really resonate with me the most. I feel like I could be either of these characters and live life just fine.
