DaMisfit Day 2: Your Favorite Video Game Character
Now this is a hard one for me. I know it’s only the second day but there are so many characters that I have enjoyed, its hard to choose just one. So I’m going to go with a character that I have played recently.

Enter “Bayek of Siwa”
Bayek is the protagonist of the latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed series. Essentially he and his wife (former as well) are the ones that essentially started the (Hidden Ones) Assassin’s Order. He is the last of the Medjay along with his wife and he is out for revenge. I would go in his backstory but that would be reviewing the game which I already did here. Instead, I will tell you why he’s my favorite character(recently).
He’s the first “Assassin”. The beginning of the “Hidden Ones”. With the moral compass of Will Smith, Bayek is one of the strongest characters I’ve played. Not only was he getting revenge for his son, he was starting a movement. This character is the reason for all the other Assassin games. And it almost didn’t happen. He was more concerned with killing the people who took his son and murdered him. It was his perseverance and more importantly his wife that put him on the path to being apart of the Hidden Ones. He’s strong, loyal and most of all, a parkour master.
I know, I know…this isn’t the most lengthy post but I warned you guys! Seriously, there are a lot of characters that I could of chosen but having played AC: Origins more recently, Bayek came to mind. Although he is a killer, he is one for a noble cause. His strong yet gentle personality makes him a easily likable character. Also, he’s fun to play with. I’m not super familiar with the Assassin’s Creed games, but that sounds like a cool character.
My favorite male character is a tie between Dudley from the Street Fighter series and Iori Yagami from the King of Fighters series.
I love the history and lore that comes with Assassin’s Creed games. Check em out sometimes. The best story wise to me were AC II the trilogy and the current one. I didn’t even think of Iori. I used to love using him in KoF. Never used Dudley in Street Fighter before so I can’t speak on him lol.
That’s good. I heard it uses some historical references like the Knight Templars and other things. Iori was so awesome in that series. He is a fun character and he has one of the best evil laughs ever. Dudley was sick in the SFIII series. I thought he was the better boxer character compared to Balrog. Okay, he does act stereotypically British, but at least he’s a positive Black character which is something I do appreciate.
