30 Day Video Game Challenge: Day 18

Favorite Protagonist

Hello Blerders and Nerders! Hope every has had a great weekend! Today is another broad topic but easy to list! There are quite a few protagonists that I have connected with and always enjoy their stories. Here is my shortlist:

Ezio Auditore De Firenze (Assassin’s Creed II trilogy)

The main character to arguably one of the best Assassin’s Creed games. Assassin’s Creed II introduced us to Ezio Auditore, a playboy and a hot head. We watched him lose those close to him and evolve into one of the greatest Assassins in history.

Nathan Drake (Uncharted Series)

There were many times where you hated Drakes decision making but overall he was a great character to be. Charismatic, fun, daring and all the ladies loved him, when they weren’t shooting at him. I enjoyed taking adventures across the globe for lost treasures while being chased by private military treasure seekers.

Dante (Original Devil May Cry series)

Dante is one of my favorite anti-hero characters in any video game. He’s an asshole, but he has some kind of morals. The game play of the Devil May Cry series is fun to play and replay. Dante looks out for himself while at the same time, something in him makes him do the right thing every time. And hack-slashing my way through levels with a bevy of styles and weaponry adds to his appeals as well.

Do you have a protagonist? It can be more than one because I know I have more than one. Tell me about it in the comments! Just so you guys know, some of my posts may be later in the day throughout the week because of work getting hectic and me not preparing like I should have. I will still knock things out but just not at the usual time. I’ll be taking a break from video game challenge (not halting the posts) and will be posting my other usual posts. Until next time, Nerd Out!
